Project Description

Waylea, Newquay

The luxurious property development of Waylea consists of a stunning, detached, 4 bedroom family home along with a beautiful adjacent 3 bed cottage. We worked alongside Yunnie Gillespie Architects to create numerous exterior Architectural Visualisations for both Planning and Marketing purposes for a private client.

Set on the coastline of Newquay, the two properties are taking advantage of the stunning views of the ocean, while also being nestled in the Cornish Landscape. The thought that has been put into the design is second to none, with the living space on the first [floor], making the most of every inch of the stunning views, captured by floor to ceiling and wall to wall windows.

The exterior of both properties are created with a mixture of lime washed brickwork and weathered timber boarding. The choices of materials complements the surrounding vernacular by respecting and complimenting the local style of design. Sedum Roofs have been used to enhance the buildings’ exceptional ecological credentials, whilst offering an appropriately organic technique to increase their thermal properties.

No property in the surf capital of the UK is complete without its very own surfboard rack to make the most of the community lifestyle feel found throughout the surf capital of the UK.
